This Historic Book Giveaway is an effort to share and preserve for future generations the area’s rich heritage.  The costs of reprinting this popular book have been achieved with the help of donations from many generous community members and organizations.  Reinstedt will distribute 1,000 copies of More Than Memories, free of charge, to community members who submit this “request form” indicating why they are interested in learning more about the history and happenings of the Monterey Peninsula.

More than a quarter of a century after its original publication, people continue to express and interest in More Than Memories.  Through generous donations from community members and organizations, a limited number of soft cover copies have been printed.  They are being made available, free of charge, to those who express and interest and desire to learn more about, explore, and/or help preserve the historically rich and significantly important history of the Monterey Peninsula.

 

Please fill out the form below briefly explaining why you would like to have a copy of More Than Memories and how you plan to use it.  Mail your request to Randy & Debbie Reinstedt, P.O. Drawer 5998, Carmel, CA 93921, or email it to Getthebook@Morethanmemoriesbook.com by November 30, 2013.  All requests will be considered.

 

The books will not be mailed.  You will need to pick up the book at local distribution points.  Pick up times, dates, and locations will be announced in the fall of 2013.  Participants will be notified via email, official website postings, and through local media public service announcements.
